2 shortcuts (to quakeworld.nu and QRP website)
qrp-aerowalk-full-2007-10-20.pk3 (with 31 files in .pk3) for a total of 5 files in the zip.
Size: 8.87 mb
Release Info: Aerowalk.bsp (author: Preacher) is arguably the most popular custom deathmatch map. The textures to this action-packed map have finally been faithfully redone just so you can go and get blood on them :). Although this map uses many textures already recreated by us, I have provided them in this pack anyway; in other words, this is a complete pack and not an upgrade or add-on.
Installation
ezQuake:
To install this pack for ezQuake versions 1.9 (build 2039 or later) compiled on or after 9-28-2007, simply extract the .pk3 file into quake\id1 directory and it will automatically be loaded. For previous versions of ezQuake (version 1.8.2 or earlier), rename the .pk3 to .zip and extract into quake\id1 (so a folder "textures" will be created).
FTE/Darkplaces:
Both engines have supported .pk3 loading for a long time, therefore simply extract the .pk3 file to quake/id1 and both engines will automatically load the textures.
FAQ
What are these "unnamed" textures?
The original author of this map somehow forgot to name his custom textures in the .bsp. DarkPlaces started to name these three textures "unnamed10", "unnamed16", "unnamed17" in order for there to be corresponding 24bit textures. Following suit, fuhquake, ezQuake, and FTE also support these names.
You named three unnamed textures. Why does this release only have two?
Even with the help of Jogi's CamQuake client and its features, I haven't been able to find texture unnamed17 anywhere in the map. Therefore, it has not been recreated, and is not included.
I have some suggestions, requests, or would like to thank or join the project. How can I do so?
Simply email me! Check the contact section on the bottom.
What is the licensing information for the textures?
Licensing information is subject to change from this file according to what is posted on our site, specifically HERE. Taken from QRP's FAQ page October 1, 2007,
The textures are made from scratch and are copyright by their respective authors and, collectively, this project. These textures are free to use in any project, be it commercial or non-commercial, on the condition that the work or the derivative product mentions the URL ( http://facelift.quakedev.com ) and name of this project (Quake Revitalization Project) in the credits. In case your project does not have a suitable credits section, you must include with your product a file titled "readme" or "licensing". No exceptions. For any further questions contact me. This license is subject to change at any time; newest versions of this license can be viewed at our site.

Thanks
I would like to give out a special thanks to:
[Win]Elchtest who first started this project.
Moon[Drunk] who has spent countless hours creating exceptional textures for us. For the most part, this project would cease to exist with you and, on behalf of the entire Quake community, we thank you for your tireless efforts.
Echon for generously giving us web space and a large amount of bandwidth, all for free.
Tonik for helping me create a list of duplicate textures, and for finally bearing fruit to a solution to all of Quake's texture problems which is both simple to use and simple to understand.
LordHavoc for his support and advice throughout the project's life.
Jogi for his CamQuake client and the features he implemented which is a huge help for the team.
Deurk and Spirit for generously giving me web space and bandwidth to mirror our files.
ezQuake crew for keeping Quake alive and adding features essential to the team
Quakeworld.nu and its crew for the publicity and keeping Quake alive
To you! the fan! We thank you for your prolonged interest both in the QRP and in Quake! :)
To anyone who I've failed to mention, my apologies. Please contact me and let me know I forgot you to include you next time.
