  3. What is the license on the QRP textures and can I use the textures for commercial as well as non-commercial usage?
  4. The textures are copyright by their respective authors and, collectively, this project. These textures are free to use in any project, be it commercial or non-commercial, on the condition that the work or the derivative product mentions the URL (http://qrp.quakeone.com) and name of this project (Quake Revitalization Project) in the credits. In case your project does not have a suitable credits section, you must include with your product a file titled "read-me" or "licensing". No exceptions. For any further questions, contact us.
  5. How do I install the QRP textures/packs?
  6. How many textures are there in Quake, Quake MP1 and Quake MP2?
  7. In what resolution are the QRP textures created in?
  8. Almost all textures for the Quake Retexturing Project are created in a resolution that is 8 times bigger than the originals, i.e., an original texture size of 64x64 pixels are replaced by a 512x512 texture (64x8=512).
  9. In what format are the QRP textures distributed in?
  10. The Quake Retexturing Project makes all releases in uncompressed .TGA (Targa) format (some exceptions might exist).
